These are nuances on the personal negotiation generalization in a tactical attempt to invalidate realities in the negotiation. These tactics are intellectually lazy.


One example is, “We never did it that way before.” When generalizations are thrown about constantly, we get tired, and eventually we are more likely to give in.


Know your truth and your center. Eschew all illogical or lazy thinking. Take a break to increase your glucose levels.
