Stratagem 15: Lure the Tiger out of the Mountain

Identification

Ideally, you never allow your opponent to negotiate from a position of strength. Leading your adversary away from their environment is better.

Example

A way to equilibrate the sides if your opponent is in a powerful position is to seek a neutral location.

Solution

Never give up your castle if you can avoid it. Defeat this by ensuring that while you will not be in ideal circumstances, your opponent will still be weaker in some way.
